bullet Scradly on Tuesday 01 December 2009 - 13:06:19
Ok.
So i guess 3 strips of blue elect tape will be ok then.
bullet bjohnson on Tuesday 01 December 2009 - 12:48:33
They're pretty flexible on how it's made.
It just needs to be blue and 15cm on each side.
bullet Scradly on Tuesday 01 December 2009 - 11:47:28
Whats the go with the Battery location triangle sticker.
Whats classed as a cams approved one .
bullet bjohnson on Tuesday 01 December 2009 - 09:37:58
You'd have to ask a scrutineer but I think it needs to be bolted into metal.
bullet alun6 on Monday 30 November 2009 - 22:21:43
Can you bolt it to the top of the centre console (the part where you rest your arms on when you drive)? Does that comply with cams??
bullet Jai on Monday 30 November 2009 - 06:12:03
you need to be able to reach it with your harness/seatbelt on.
bullet Spektor on Saturday 28 November 2009 - 09:45:12
Depends. Can you get to it when you're upside down and there's a fire in the cabin?
bullet alun6 on Friday 27 November 2009 - 23:28:48
Can the fire extinguisher be bolted on to the back seat footwell?
bullet alun6 on Sunday 15 November 2009 - 22:30:00

bullet XT43 on Wednesday 11 November 2009 - 20:05:35
Cheers Brett!

bullet Brett on Wednesday 11 November 2009 - 15:20:58

if he wants to find out what it takes to build a fast FN2.

They are pretty good cars out of the box, but you'll need to be buying lots of (expensive) parts if you want to make meaningfull improvements.

The usual comments about "most cars are faster then their drivers" applies here, so get him to come to the track and improve himself first!

Where do the Honda boys go for tunes etc on their Civic type Rs? Theres a guy at my work with one and I said that I would ask here.
Whats the basic mods etc that can be done?
Cheers.
bullet Spektor on Monday 09 November 2009 - 12:44:38
Remember these events are now classed as a sprint competition, not a driver training event.
bullet Spektor on Monday 09 November 2009 - 09:20:50
Wouldn't have thought so unless they've got a CAMS license and signed on
bullet alun6 on Monday 09 November 2009 - 00:59:58
Can the instructors take spectator out on the track on an entrant's car??
bullet Jai on Sunday 08 November 2009 - 17:58:23
Next years dates will be finalised over the next month or so and we will tell you all as soon as we know...
bullet swilkes on Thursday 05 November 2009 - 13:09:51
For anyone interested in the older cars (racing or otherwise) there is a great event happening at the old Caversham Raceway on 15th November. Check it out at "http://www.vsccwa.com.au/cms/index.php?page=caversham". Should be an original Lancia Stratos on show plus a host of other cars and bikes! $10 entry.
bullet Evomaniac on Monday 02 November 2009 - 09:31:17
hey guys, any idea on when next years dates will be available so I can check to see on my roster what nights I'm going to be home?
bullet Jai on Wednesday 21 October 2009 - 21:15:11
you must have a passenger seat but you can take the rear seats out.
just one of those things...

sorry
bullet Spektor on Wednesday 21 October 2009 - 21:13:15
Need to check the Supp Regs I suppose.
bullet alun6 on Wednesday 21 October 2009 - 20:12:35
Thought instructors don't necessarily need to be in the car
bullet Spektor on Wednesday 21 October 2009 - 19:52:39
Where would the instructor sit?
bullet alun6 on Wednesday 21 October 2009 - 18:30:15
Are we allowed to run without passenger and rear seats?
bullet alun6 on Thursday 15 October 2009 - 11:08:20
Cheers,
I emailed cams already.
bullet bjohnson on Wednesday 07 October 2009 - 11:18:22
Alun,
No you can't renew your licence on the night.
The 30 day slip is only for new licences.
You will need to go to the CAMS WA office and renew it there.
They will give you a receipt that you can show to tracy along with your expired licence at sign on.

Suite 7/21 Wanneroo Road, Joondanna
