I just thought I'd take a few minutes to introduce myself (or rather "us" - we're a duo). We are Andy and Lyn, currently enjoying the delights of WA until mid-January (when we have to return to wet, cold Wales).
We were invited to the twilight track event (10th December) and jumped at the chance to come along and see what you guys get up to. With us both being petrolheads (and interested in motorsport and performance cars) we didn't need asking twice!
We had a very enjoyable evening and met some friendly guys - hence thought we'd join and share some of the photos we took that night. (I'll post the picture links in the relevant post event thread).
To give you a little background information, Lyn and I run an MSA (Motor Sports Association) affiliated Car Club in the UK and we hold various events throughout the year - trackdays, airfield days (sprints, technical handling, etc.), rally, shows and - our speciality - driving/touring events around Wales, Scotland and the whole of Europe. We are blessed with some beautiful roads. If you're ever over in the UK (Wales or otherwise) then feel free to get in touch and you'd be more than welcome to join us for a drive...
Lyn currently drives a modified Honda Civic Type-R (EP3) and you can read more here.
I (Andy) currently drive a Limited Edition RenaultSport Clio 182 Trophy - which you can read more about here.
If you'd like to see more photos and videos (i.e. the sort of things we get up to) then please feel free to take a look in our Gallery section.
Thanks for reading, Andy and Lyn | | Back to top

| Very very nice cars you have there! The things I would do for a 182 trophy...

| Thanks Ben - must admit that both Lyn and I love the Trophy and it was Lyn that actually got me interested in it. Prior to purchasing it I'd always been a big Jap car fan (and still am).
It's not the most powerful of cars but it handles beautifully and can embarrass some more powerful cars... | | Back to top
