Another year over and another fairly successful year by all... We saw some of the biggest event numbers ever with an event actually being 'overbooked' but unfortunately we also saw some event run well under the break even point. That I suppose is the risk we take when organising these events. We saw some FAAAST lap times but noone has yet beaten Steve's fastest time of 53.3335 around the short circuit, Set all the way back in December 2008. The Antilag Street Series - Powered by Tech9Tyres and Nexen ran for its first full year and Starts again at this Year. There will be some small changes but more details will be available in the coming weeks.
2010 will provide more challenges for all with the Announcement of some changes to the Staff and People involved in making these events happen. What does this mean you ask??
Well, It is with great sadness that we say farwell to our President and one of our founding members of the No Limits Car Club, Anthony Fogliani has decided that it is time to have a rest from the busy track lifestyle and has handed the reigns over to myself. Brett Williams will be our new Vice President and Tracy Fogliani will still be our Treasurer and Event Secretary. As well as running the Sign-on's for each event.
Insructors will still vary from event to event depending on availability, but as always we will endeavor to only have the Highest quality of instructor and Barbagallo specialists on hand to help guide, coach and get the most out of you and your car.
Anthony was a HUGE part of making these events happen and without him we wouldn't all be here. So personally i saw THANK YOU. We will all miss you and I know events just dont feel the same without you there in pit lane helping anyone that had a car. Maybe if we are lucky he might come back every now and again to help as an instructor.
Well onward and upwards in 2010 and lets make this event the BEST event in Perth. See you all at the track.
